November 7th, 2023 National Organization for Working Communities – NOWCommunities, under its project “Women’s Voice and Leadership – Pakistan (WVL-P)”, is aiming at the institutionalization of the Gender Leadership Program – GLP. In doing so, NOWCommunities is engaging with young women from universities for their capacity strengthening and promotion of women leadership at the community level. On the 7th of October 2023, NOWCommunities conducted its 4th capacity-strengthening workshop with the students from the Department of Development Studies, NED University of Engineering and Technology, Karachi. The objective of this workshop was to assess the understanding of students on Gender Analysis, through a presentation of an assignment and to introduce the GLPiers to a young leader as an inspiration. During the workshop, the GLPiers demonstrated their understanding of Gender Analysis by presenting the Gender Analysis of their university. Ms Nazia Baloch (a GLPier and District Coordinator, Awaz-e-Niswan, Karachi Chapter) appeared as the guest speaker. Here are some glimpses of the day.
