October 31st, 2023 National Organization for Working Communities – NOWCommunities, under its project “Women’s Voice and Leadership – Pakistan (WVL-P)”, is aiming at the institutionalization of the Gender Leadership Program – GLP. In doing so, NOWCommunities is engaging with young women from universities for their capacity strengthening and promotion of women leadership at the community level. On the 31st of October 2023, NOWCommunities conducted its third capacity-strengthening workshop with the students from the Department of Development Studies, NED University of Engineering and Technology, Karachi. The objective of this workshop was to introduce the students to the concept of Change and Gender Analysis to enhance their ability to design women-focused interventions. During the workshop, Ms Iqra Gulzar (a GLPier from NOWCommunities) engaged with students on the topic of Change and Gender Analysis to enhance their understanding of gender issues and women-focused change actions.
