November 2nd, 2023 National Organization for Working Communities – NOWCommunities, under its project “Women’s Voice and Leadership – Pakistan (WVL-P)”, is aiming at the institutionalization of the Gender Leadership Program – GLP. In doing so, NOWCommunities is engaging with young women from universities for their capacity strengthening and promotion of women leadership at the community level. On the 2nd of November 2023, NOWCommunities conducted its third capacity-strengthening workshop with the students from the Department of Economics. University of Sindh, Jamshoro. During the workshop, Ms Iqra Gulzar (a GLPier from NOWCommunities) and Ms Sadia Baloch (program manager, WVL-P, NOWCommunities) engaged with students through interactive sessions on the topic of Gender Issues and Gender Analysis to enhance their understanding of gender issues and women-focused interventions.
