October 19th, 2023 National Organization for Working Communities – NOWCommunities, under its project “Women’s Voice and Leadership – Pakistan (WVL-P)”, is aiming at the institutionalization of the Gender Leadership Program – GLP. In doing so, NOWCommunities is engaging with young women from universities for their capacity strengthening and promotion of women leadership at the community level. On the 19th of October 2023, NOWCommunities conducted its second capacity-strengthening workshop with the the students from Department of Economics. University of Sindh, Jamshoro. During the workshop, Ms Iqra Gulzar (a GLPier from NOWCommunities) and Ms Sadia Baloch (program manager, WVL-P, NOWCommunities) engaged with students through interactive sessions and peer discussions. On the second day of the workshop, the topic related to leadership and effective communication skills were discussed.
