November 22nd, 2023 National Organization for Working Communities – NOWCommunities, under its project “Women’s Voice and Leadership – Pakistan (WVL-P)”, is aiming at the institutionalization of the Gender Leadership Program – GLP. In doing so, NOWCommunities is engaging with young women from universities for their capacity strengthening and promotion of women leadership at the community level. On the 22nd of November 2023, NOWCommunities conducted its 6th capacity-strengthening workshop and a field visit for the students from the Department of Economics, University of Sindh, Jamshoro. This workshop was the culmination of the GLP training capacity-strengthening exercise for young community leaders. During the workshop, Ms Iqra Gulzar (GLPier) and Ms Sadia Baloch (Program Manager, WVL-P, NOWCommunities) facilitated the students in the formulation of questions as well as facilitated FGD with women factory and domestic workers.
