On 23rd November 2023, NOWCommunities, under the project “Women’s Voice and Leadership – Pakistan”, organized a consultation meeting on the proposed service structure of LHWP in Sindh. The meeting was attended by the senior representatives of LHWP Sindh, the Chairperson of Sindh Commission on the Status of Women, and the representatives of Social Welfare Department, Human Rights Commission Pakistan, Karachi Union of Journalists, Pakistan Fisher Folk Forum, Chairman People’s Labor Bureau, and the member of ALPU. In the meeting the representatives of LHWP Sindh agreed with the need of Customized Service Structure for the LHWP in Sindh and advises to the union to submit a the paperwork to take it further to authorities.
