The National Organization for Working Communities under WVL-P, organized an assembly of the @All Lady Health Worker Programme Union – ALPU, trade unions, and civil society organizations, in Thul, Sindh. The objective of this assembly was to facilitate the union organizing of the workers and encourage networking with fellow trade unions, line departments, and civil society organizations. In the assembly, the union updates its members on the progress of the union especially the internal elections of a general council. The union also announced its first elections of the executive council. since its registration which is a huge achievement. The assembly was attended by the members of the union from all across Sindh, the representatives of line departments, the representatives of the LHW program in Sindh, fellow trade unions, civil society organizations and journalists. The participants appreciated the efforts of the union and expressed their support for the union.
